This Majestic Large Elephant is carved from serpentine, a traditional stone used in Zimbabwean sculpture and found in many deposits throughout the country. It features a variegated and rich green coloring that is just stunning. The elephant signifies strength, royalty, dignity, patience, wisdom, longevity, and happiness. Made using traditional carving techniques, simple tools, and generations of experience and artistry in Zimbabwe. It is carved out of serpentine stone which is then polished with sand and beeswax.
