Tiny Tin Ant

Ants are industrious, patient, proactive and cooperate well as a group for community benefit. The strength of ants in proportion to their size is also legendary. In parts of Africa, ants are considered to be messengers of the gods. As such, people regard ant bites as possessing curative properties. Old tin cans and other scraps of metal from businesses in the industrial area of Harare are turned into these delightful sculptures by these artists using snips, pliers, and hammers.
