Also known as "Ukama" or "Loving Family", these shona stone sculptures are one of the most popular emerging African art forms. The figures show a mother and child, symbolizing the importance of the bond between the two. Much like our family pieces, the linking together of the figures as one form depicts the unity of spirit between the two.
