Peter was born in Murehwa in 1975. He completed his Primary and Secondary education and became interested in art after visiting his brothers in Harare, Zimbabwe. He now sculpts beautiful birds from stone, natural wood and in mixed media of deadwood and metal. His birds are inspired by the natural forms of the materials he uses. As an artist, Peter is very aware of the effects of environmental degradation and believes that using found wood and stone is an important part of his art.
